Memorial Hospital of Tampa has been providing comprehensive healthcare services for residents of south Tampa and the surrounding community for over 40 years. Recent renovations and the addition of state-of-the-art technology has kept the hospital modernized to provide high-quality medical care, including emergency medicine, diagnostic procedures, surgery, outpatient therapies and acute care for hospitalized patients.
St. Joseph’s Same Day Surgery offers ambulatory surgery and general surgery, otolaryngology (ENT), ophthalmology, cosmetics, orthopedics, dentistry, podiatry, urology, gastroenterology and pain management.
Located on the 1st floor of St. Joseph’s Medical Arts Building, directly adjacent to St. Joseph’s Hospital, the unit contains six surgery suites and three endoscopic procedure rooms. The focus is on outpatients but procedures can also be performed that require admission as an inpatient or for an observation stay.
